Now let’s get to it. I have read a lot of positive reviews online about the Shulammite Carrot Soap not only it brightens skin but also helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and acne marks. I also got excited even more when I found out that it is the sister of my favorite Orange Peel L-Glutathione Face and Body Bar. You may click the link if you haven’t read about it yet.

The Package:

I like the package. It’s cute and catchy.

What it Claims:

It says “Experience the benefits of natural Carrot Essence with this purifying beauty bar. Shulammite Carrot Soap helps fight 7 skin problems: pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dark acne marks, oily skin, excessive sweat, mild rashes and irritations, such as prickly heat. Clinically proven to reduce acne vulgaris in as little as 3 weeks. Use daily for clear, healthy, and radiant skin!”

Isn’t that amazing?

Directions:

Apply foaming lather onto wet skin and gently massage for one minute. Rinse thoroughly. Do this twice a day for best results. May be used for face and body. Keep in a dry soap dish always.

Ingredients:

Sodium Cocoate, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, Citric Acid, Carrot (Daucus Carota Sativa) Essence, Fragrance, Color, BHT, EDTA.

I cut the soap into 4 pieces just like what I’m doing to all other square-shaped soaps. There was no sting feeling, skin irritations, and breakouts at first use. I love the mild smell of it and it lathers so well with my soft shower pouf scrub. According to the direction, you can let it sit on your skin for 1 minute then rinse it off, that’s what I did. I use it twice daily both on my face and body. I gently massage the soap in a circular motion and I focus on the areas where I have many acne marks (cheeks, chin, forehead) and whiteheads (nose)

Shulammite Carrot Soap 7 Skin Problems: Results

Pimples – Can’t tell because I don’t have fresh pimples when I was using the soap.

Blackheads & Whiteheads – Yes, it did lessen them a bit.

Dark acne marks – No. It does not help clearing them up.

Oily skin & Excessive sweat  – I don’t know because I don’t have oily skin and I don’t sweat a lot.

Mild rashes and irritations – I don’t know because I don’t have rashes when I was using the soap.

Pros:

  • Availability
  • Package shows details product information including expiry date.
  • The package looks cute and catchy.
  • I did not experience acne breakouts, redness, and other skin irritation.
  • It doesn’t melt fast.
  • Smells good like Orange.

Cons:

  • price still a little bit steep for a bar of soap (PHP 109/bar)
  • The soap did not work for me.
  • Did not help clear up my acne marks.

Where to buy:

Available in all leading supermarkets, groceries and department stores nationwide.

Will I repurchase?

No. I may just go back to the Orange Peel L-Glutathione soap or may try other brands of soap.

Final Thoughts:

My experience with this soap was okay. I did not experience any acne breakouts, redness, and other skin irritations but sadly the soap did not work for me. Again what works for me may not work for others and vise versa. Just remember to always follow directions. I would still recommend this soap to others who have skin problems mentioned above. Who knows, this soap may do wonder and work for you.

Have you tried the Shulammite Carrot Soap? Did it work for you? Let me know your thoughts and hope to see you on my next post!

Thanks for reading!
