How’s your weekend coming along? Hope ya’ll have a great weekend like I do. Anyways, today I’ll be sharing another beauty find that a lot of bloggers have been raving about since 2 years ago, the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. For more details, please read along.
Before I proceed further with the review, here’s a little information about Micellar Water.
Micellar Water is made up of tiny oil molecules called “micelles” suspended in soft water that easily attach to dirt, make up and other gunk your skin has. This just looks like a regular water but this no-rinse cleanser is a bad-ass and very gentle to the skin and can be used as make-up remover, toner and moisturizer in one. Isn’t that a bad ass?! It has first gained its popularity in Paris where a lot of women even models, celebrities, and make up artists use so there’s no doubt that this will spread everywhere around the globe like wild fire.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is available in two variants. The blue variant is perfect for oily, acne-prone skin, while the pink one is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. I bought the pink variant for myself and I also grab a travel sized bottle of the blue variant for my boyfriend since he has oily skin. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is honestly the first Micellar Water that I’ve tried so there’s nothing I can compare it with except with other traditional cleansers that I have used for the past years. Compared with other types of cleansers that I’ve used, micellar water is very gentle and moisturizing because it’s not drying and has no alcohol content.
Personally, I use my Micellar Water as my facial cleanser/moisturizer because I do not wear any make-up everyday but here on this post, I will show you guys how effective it is as a make-up remover.
I was able to totally removed all swatches in 12 swipes. I guess it’ll be more effective if you’ll let sit the soaked pad over swatches in few seconds first before swiping them off because that would easily lift away make-up residues. I have been using this product for couple of months now and I love it. This makes my skin softer after use and I have not experience breakouts, redness or any skin irritation. This leaves a little bit sticky feeling though but it disappears after few minutes.
We all know that cleansing is the first and one of the most important steps in our skin care routine that’s why it is also important to have a very good product that does a good job in cleansing all dirt our skin has. But be honest girls, sometimes we get a little lazy from washing our face off or even remove our make up off when the time is tight. I feel yah! I, personally, often forget to wash my face when I get home especially when I come home late because all I ever wanted was to rest and go to sleep. So this is the best solution for those lazy nights girls! This is my holy grail and would never leave my skin care kit. Overall, I love this product so much because it’s just amaaaazing!
This is available in all leading supermarkets, groceries and drugstores nationwide. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is also available in two sizes for each variant. Big bottle (400ml) is P249.00 each while smaller bottle (travel size 125ml) is P149.00. Definitely one for the books!

This is not a sponsored post. I bought the products using my own money. I am also no skin expert and it’s best if you will seek professional advise.
