My 5 Go-to Online Shops for All Things K-Beauty + Mini Review

Hello there!

It’s a brand New Year once again and there’s no other fabulous way to start the New Year than to kick start it with a lot of good vibes and fresh start. Do you have some idea in mind? Well, I do! How about starting the New Year with… good and healthier skin?  If last year you were careless about the products you put on your skin and how your skin looks like,  maybe it’s about time to change the bad habit and start to care about your skin more. Interested? then read along.

Back then I only think that all skincare products work just the same and some were just over-hyped. I was wrong!  I have tried a lot of different skin care products before both Western and Asian. Some I loved and some I hated. And then I got introduced to K-Beauty brands and I fell in love instantly with their products. Korean products work so well on my skin and I can say that it really made a huge difference so I hope this post would also give you a fresh introduction to K-Beauty brands and go from there.

K-Beauty is all the rave right now almost everywhere around the globe. Well, no questions asked about that because Koreans are known for their great skin and timeless beauty so many of us are goin’ crazy to have the same beauty and great skin whatever it takes! Some even undergo surgeries to see instant results but some (count me in!) simply rely on the products that they’re using.

The good news is that most of K-beauty brands are now within our reach, thank you to all K-Beauty online shops that are rapidly popping out in the internet. To help you find the right products, I have listed down my 5 favorite Go-to Online Shops for All Things K-Beauty.

In no particular order, let’s begin.

I guess most of the Filipino readers out there are already familiar with this online shop. This is a local online shop that carries over 300+ brands from local to international not only local or western products but also K-Beauty brands such as Innisfree, Skinfood, Banila Co., Benton, COSRX, Mizon, Heimish, Huxley, Pyungkang Yul and many more. This is honestly the first ever online shop I ordered my K-beauty products from and I love that they offer 1-day shipping locally and free shipping for minimum purchased of 1,500 pesos. Plus they do send freebies as well depends on the their available items. You can read my separate detailed review with BeautyMNL website here.

Althea Korea / Althea PH

According to their website, “Althea is the National Flower of Korea.”. I think this is one of the biggest Online shops in South East Asia that sells K-Beauty products. It was February 2016 when they officially launched Althea Philippines that made all Filipina K-Beauty fans crazy. It’s a Korea based online shop that sells tons of Korean brands worldwide. The products are being shipped directly from Korea so they ship longer than BeautyMNL. The shipping usually takes 15-20 days but base on my experience, I received my order less than 5 days. What I love is they offer free shipping for minimum purchase for as low as 999 Php. Isn’t that awesome! They carry Korean Brands such as Innisfree, Skinfood, COSRX, Banila Co., Missha, Mizon, Apieu, Belif, Laneige, Chica-Y-Chico, Whamisa, Dear Klairs, Earth’s Recipe, Natural Pacific, Too Cool for School, Tony Moly, Thank you Farmer and many more. Another thing to love about Althea Korea is their Althea Box that is so chic and useful.

One sure thing you will definitely enjoy with Althea is their endless promos and coupon codes to win from all of their Social Media accounts. In fact, I recently won a reward points from them when I joined one of their Holiday promos via Instagram. You may read my Althea haul here.

Go Bloom and Glow

This is a Cebu based Online shop that carries Dear, Klairs, Pyunkang Yul, COSRX, Innisfree, Goodal, Heimish, Huxley, Benton, Laneige, Missha, Neogen and more. This is where I ordered my current moisturizer that I am loving so far. The prices are way cheaper compared to other online shops but they guarantee authenticity of the items they sell. At the moment they only offer nationwide shipping in the Philippines. For Bank Deposits and Remittances/Payment Centers, they normally ship packages the same day one you’ve settled the payment and provided your proof of payment before 10AM but if it is beyond that cut off the parcel will be shipped the next day and your items will be delivered 1-3 business days. Standard shipping takes 1-3 business days. They do not have their own courier so they send it either via JRS with P139 shipping fee or LBC with P195 shipping fee. Free shipping is available thru JRS Express for orders P1800 above.

With my case, I had my parcel delivered at the most convenient LBC branch near me and picked it up personally. Tracking number was given to easily track my order via their 3rd party courier website. One thing I like about Go Bloom and Glow is that they are very responsive to my inquiries via Viber and they restock their products quite fast. Their website is pretty simple too and Skincare category is arranged according to the 10-Step Korean Skincare routine. Cool right? Another thing to love is that they also do sell product samples which is good for those who wants to test out products first without buying the full product.

Shop Pibu

I haven’t ordered from them yet but I came across this shop when I was looking for an online shop where I could buy eye creams that aren’t available to some other shops. Same with Go Bloom and Glow, they are very responsive to Instagram DMs. You will be told right away if this product will be restocked or whatever. I like their website too because it is simplified and just like Go Bloom and Glow, their categories are already in order based on the 10 Step Korean Skincare Routine. Another reason why this made into my top 5 is because most of the products or sold out products from other online K-beauty shops are available here. Some items are priced higher but just a few cents difference but some also priced cheaper than the others. They also ship via LBC and JRS and offer 3 shipping options that you may want to check here. They also have a physical store located at THE PENTHOUSE Robinson’s Place Manila which you can definitely visit. Subscribe to their website now and you’ll get P100 discount!

Daraholic: Dara Beauty Market

Daraholic carries a lot of K-Beauty brands too including Sulwhasoo, IOPE, Neogen, Son&Park, belif, Whamisa and so much more. product samples are also available if you are not ready to buy the full one. Here’s where I ordered my Eye Cream from Innisfree and it was a hassle free transaction. They are using JRS and LBC express for any orders within the Philippines. Shipping costs are based on the weight of the order. According to their website, If the accumulated weight exceeds 1kg, another kg will be added to shipping fees. Shipping fees will be automatically calculated at the checkout page. As far as I know, COD option isn’t available at the moment so you can only pay via Remittances/Bank Deposits, Payment Centers. Please note that they only process the shipment every Monday, Wednesday and Friday except holidays and weekends so expect that delivery might take more or less 5 days.

There you have it! Which shop is your favorite? Let me know in the comments. Happy online shopping!

  1. Interesting post! I’ve been looking for other online store where I can buy skincare products and your blog was a great help. I’m gonna go check shop-pibu now because this is my first time hearing about their store. haha
